The Rotary Club of Terrace has chosen Rich Toomey as its "Rotarian of the Year" for the past Rotary year (2023-24).
The announcement was made by Club President Chad Sallenback at the Club's Installation Meeting held last week at the Sherwood Mountain Brewhouse.
Rich was recognized for his tireless work as Club Treasurer as well as helping to organize and manage the sale of tickets for one of the club's main fundraisers: the annual Terrace Rotary Wild Duck Race.

Also at the Installation Meeting, President Chad, who is beginning his second consecutive year at the helm of the Club, presented the new executive for the coming Rotary year, which begins July 1st.
The President-elect is Reece Dozzi (he's also our Sergeant-at-Arms), Secretary is Manuela Krisinger and Rich Toomey will continue as Treasurer.
Directors include Chris Houston (Service Projects), Brian Downie (Foundation), Bryan Gascon (Membership), John Crawford (Public Relations), Kara Loy (Club Administration) and Sarah Zimmerman (Youth).
