Members of the Rotary Club of Terrace were on hand to celebrate the city's George Little Park playground expansion project.
Several new features have been added, including two specially-designed swings to accommodate children with accessibility challenges.

The celebration was held Tuesday morning at George Little Park in Terrace, as the City marked the completion of its playground expansion project.
Included in the expansion are two pieces which were added specifically for their accessibility: a "nest", which is a chair-type structure, and an adaptive swing which allows the child to be safely secured.
The project was funded by The Rotary Club of Terrace and the Terrace Community Forest. Both organizations were represented at today's ceremony, along with city staff, who provided treats for the children who were happily enjoying the park.
Rotary's involvement was spearheaded by our 2022 President Sean Bujtas, who also happens to be the Mayor of Terrace.
