The Rotary Clubs of Terrace and Terrace-Skeena Valley have a special event happening this Saturday to mark WORLD POLIO DAY!

World Polio Day is on October 24th.

For over 45 years Rotary Clubs have worked towards eradicating this disease, but the work is not done! If efforts stopped today, up to 200,000 children PER YEAR could be paralyzed by this infection within 10 years.
Rotary Clubs across the world will be having events and raising awareness for the End Polio Now campaign, and right here in our area we have two amazing Rotary Clubs that work towards this.

As we mark World Polio Day on October 24th, please consider supporting Rotary’s PolioPlus fund—where your contributions continue to be matched 2-to-1 by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. You can TRIPLE the impact of your donation on this special day.
Join us on October 24th at 11 AM at the Rotary Splash Park behind the Terrace Library for a (brisk!) fall walk to raise awareness for this cause!
